In partnership with multi-hull building legend, Michael Bell of Offshore Catamarans, this versatile 16’ sailing canoe is the perfect way to connect with the deep blue.
Perfect for all sailing levels—from land-lubbing novices to old crusty salts—the rigging, weight and design make for a fun, safe and fast ride. Made with the highest quality fiberglass-epoxy composite, the Pacific Outrigger is über-light, like 175lbs total weight light, and super-strong. Its low draft—two feet with leeboard engaged—allow for sailors to cruise into the shallowest of flats and mangrove-fringed eyelets, while its wide berth—12’—makes for a comfortable ride that can accommodate up to 600lbs.
Truly versatile, the Pacific Outrigger can be used as a sailing vessel; add an outboard to putt around the ditch; or breakdown the rigging and bust out the elbow grease for some good old paddle power. The hull shape, lightweight design and construction makes the Pacific Outrigger the perfect outrigger surfer, easily taking overhead sets with speed and ease (also a great way to get to those way outside breakers—load the boards, paddle out, drop anchor and enjoy the surf).
